Our Catholic Mission

At St John XXIII Catholic College we are first and foremost here to offer families a quality and accessible faith-based education for your child.

St John XXIII Catholic College serves as part of St John XXIII Catholic Parish Glenwood-Stanhope Gardens. Gospel values underpin part of everyday life with students learning what it is to be welcoming, just and socially aware. Christ is visible in all areas of learning and teaching, ensuring students develop their full human potential and are well placed to contribute to society in a meaningful way.

Sacred Spaces

In each learning space, there is a sacred space, which is used as a focus during class prayer. A community prayer book, which is promoted with the children and the parents, continues to be a feature.

A most important part of Catholic life is giving to the needs of others. At St John XXIII Catholic College we have a strong outreach both locally and overseas. Social justice is an integral part of College life. Our Social Justice program allows students to live their faith in a practical way.

Catholic schools are first and foremost here to offer families a quality and accessible faith-based education for children.

At St John XXIII Catholic College, we believe that it is important to develop and maintain close links with our local and global community to form partnerships of mutual benefit. Students gain a great deal of experience and awareness through their active involvement with initiatives connected to Community programs.
